^just for laughs^

The Sack game

A blonde, a brunette and a redhead ran away from the police station after being caught for stealing. They found a barn and decided to hide in it. There were 3 sacks in it and they each hid in one of them. After a few minutes, the police came and noticed the sacks.
The policeman kicked the first sack.
"Meow," said the brunette.
"It must be a cat," said the policeman.
He kicked the second sack.
"Aarf," said the redhead.
"It must be a dog"
He kicked the third sack.
"Potatoes," said the blonde.

Space Exploration

Our Philippine president attended the United Nations' Meeting. All nations were discussing about space exploration by the year 2010. Here are some of the conversations:

China Delegate: "By the year 2010, China will start their moon exploration project. "

Russian Delegate: " We too, we are going to explore the moon. This time we will see to it that our cosmonauts will step on the moon."

George Bush: " We the United States will also explore the moon for the second time."

Philippine President: " By the year 2010, the Philippines will explore the sun."

There was a long silence, George Bush stood up and asked the Philippine President: " Isn't it too hot to explore the sun?"

Philippine President: after a long silence replied: " We will do it in the evening."

a good dose of love stories

*sigh* isn't it soooooo great to be in love?

i've just finished watching two of the best movie love stories i have ever laid eyes on. *i'm sorry if this is guna sound like a movie review.. but i have got to! :)*

the first one was a walk to remember... now who can forget shane west's swoon-worthy eyes and his sexy voice? (and of course, mandy moore's.. ahem... lips... hahahaha!) if there's one movie whose lines i cant seem to resist memorizing, it's got to be this one. i just love repeating those sweet words all the time! *...her love is like the wind... i cant see it, but i can feel it...*
thank god there was no one beside me to shut me up... hehehe!

the second movie i watched was entitled "if only". to those of you who havent seen it or havent heard of it at all, it stars jennifer love hewitt and paul nichols... it's a story about appreciating the one you love and showing her how much you love her while she's still beside you... time is a luxury.. and you'll never know when it's too late. ian (paul nichols) loves his gilfriend, sam (jennifer love hewitt), very much but because of his very busy schedule, he cant seem to make time for her. he normally forgets important occasions and it seems as if sam is only his 2nd priority. when things get a little bumpy and they're on the verge of breaking up, sam meets an accident and dies from it. of course, ian is devastated. after a long night of mourning and regret, he finally wakes up the next morning, only to find sam lying beside him, very much alive and surprised at his reaction, and the day has repeated itself all over again. ian gets a second chance to correct the mistakes he committed the day before and he does everything he can to make sam feel that she is the best thing that has ever happened to him.

hmmm... i wont spoil the ending for you! hehe! u gotta watch it for urself! ;Þ anyway, it's been a wonderful day today and thank god it rained! it's been sooooo damn hot these past few days and i wont be surprised if one day i just collapse due to heat stroke! haha!

anyway, my trip to bangkok was moved to the 31st.. two of my friends are gonna be celebrating their debuts, one on the 31st and one on june 5th... so to be able to attend them, i just moved my sked! hehe! i sooo cant wait! even my mom's so excited to see her amigas again! hahaha! oh well... there's only a couple of weeks to go... BANGKOK! here i come!!!

*this is a message for all IV-2 peeps*

we will be celebrating our 9th monthsary on may 27! i need your suggestions! what would you like to do and where would you like to have the party? would like to have a simple dinner and bond with everyone? would you like to have a swimming party? feel free to give ur suggestions! email me or text me or tag me! i miss you all! i'll be in touch with u guys soon! muaah!

"camp ohana 2... where no one gets left behind"

i just had one of the best and definitely one of the most memorable weekends of my life! i spent friday night, literally the whole of saturday and sunday morning at YFC camp! i went there wid jeikell and her sister joanne, roelie and her sister raissa! jeiks and i arrived late on friday night (thanks to the very detailed map! :Þ) but thank god we didnt miss much. they had just started practicing the songs... *and mind you, they are really good songs.. we sounded like a rock concert!*

after the songs we had an ice breaker (human bingo.. it felt like a soiree! hehe!) and then we listened to talk number one which was given by "father" lorenz (haha! joke lng idol!)... after which we had our discussion groups and then we went to sleep!

we were grouped according to age *mejo OP nga si jeiks eh! hehehe!* and we slept in these mini houses... they were really cute! ours was the yellow house... all the houses had two floors... the bottom floor had the double decks and on the upper floor (where we slept) there was just a big and comfy foam...
we were all havin a nice chat upstairs with roelie, cheny, and mary grace when...

jeikell: ROOOOOOOOZZZZZ!!!!!! (in a scared voice)
roz (me): bakeeet???
jeikell: baba ka dito!!!
roz: bakit nga?
jeikell: MAY IPIIIISSS!!!!
*laughter*

yess... the poor jeikell encountered some innocent cockroaches in the shower.. hahaha! well, u cant avoid that coz the houses only get visited a few times during the year... but anyway, i went out to call our beautiful and very accomodating faci, ate tj, who in turn went to lorenz... and here he comes to save the day! hehehe! with one slap of his silppers, bye bye cockroachie! and jeikee was able to get the shower she wanted.. *the end*

anyway, i had trouble sleeping the first night.. perhaps i was missin my bed and, well, jeikell kept on snoring... hahaha! *luv u jeikee!*

i slept for like 3 hours i think before waking up at 5am to take a shower... ( a very very cold and freezing shower). then we had breakfast (ham, eggs, rice.. yum!). i made sure i ate enough coz we had a long day ahead of us... we had three talks on saturday, we had one-on-ones with our facilitators.. ate tj asked us how we were, if we are encountering probelms of any sort that we need prayers for and she asked us to pick 3 gifts of the holy spirit which we want to receive... i asked for the gift of wisdom (so i can make the right decisions), healing (so i can be healed of the pains and hurts i have experienced, and so that i can forgive the people who've hurt me so much), and the gift of tongues (this is the coolest! it enables you to talk to god in a language which only the two of u understand... ate tj told me that sometimes, the reason why our prayers take a while to get answered is because the devil can hear us and he makes it a point to interfere... when we speak in tongues, he wont be able to decipher a word we are saying.. cool, eh?)

we were also baptized on saturday night... that was the highlight of the camp. its not the usual baptismal ceremony where they pour water on us.. hahaha! we were brought to the garden where our faci and another prayer warrior prayed over us, mentioning our intentions and asking the holy spirit to grant us the gifts we asked for. i had goosebumps all over! it was not the kind of goosebumps you get when u're cold... its like i felt the presence of the lord.. and i felt really light afterwards.. just like being born again :)

the next day was the day of our last talk, our one-on-one with our parents and the Mass, of course! i didnt wanna leave actually! i've made really wonderful friends and i learned so much from the camp! others might feel it's corny and that all we do is pray.. but it was really an awesome experience you shouldnt dare miss!

*the camp wouldnt have been wonderful without the following people: ::joline and lorenz (the team leaders) for handling us so well:: ::ate karen and radian for being great chapter heads... and radian, thanks for the very corny jokes!:: ::jeikell and joanne, for saying yes to my invitation! i had a great time wid u dearies!:: ::roelie and raissa for the unforgettable memories.. and for sharing the same taste in guys.. hahaha!:: ::dada, for inviting me!:: ::ate tj, for the good pieces of advice:: ::the whole YFC group, the service team, the music min, and the speakers, for being tru inspirations::*

a bag of tortillos

*what's better than having a cold, soothing shower in this scorching heat, grabbing urself a bag of stone-ground tortillos, sitting in front of the pc, updating ur blog and chatting with people?*

...this week is the first un-busy week of my summer.. un-busy in the sense that i dont have to get ready for streetdancing.. (which is quite sad) and today, i just stayed home... and man, this heat is unbearable!!! *aircon, anyone?!?*

...anyway, last friday, we had our last streetdancing session and we shot this video inside UP diliman... super cool man! we felt like stars coz everyone was watching us... hahahaha! we were all wearing our hip costumes.. *and melvin wore my racerback.. man! can u imagine??!?* we shot scenes in the rooftop, infront of this statue.. i dunno what its called... *sabi ko nga we should have shot a scene beside the oblation statue eh... controversial! hehehe!* kuya niño's gona make the video for us.. we're probably guna get it in two weeks or so.. im gonna post some pics of the shoot here once i get them.. =)

...saturday was lucy's debut! it was beautiful.. and lucy was even more beautiful! she wore this yellow dress and had her hair in really nice curls... it was some sort of reunion with old friends too! seated at our table were mika, chex, kc, ayreen, hasmin, lao, ika, majo, ayi, ziggy, eena, and marga... (mejo op nga kami ni zigs eh.. hahahaa! puro barkada nila.. hehehe!) the program emcees were ayi and majo (and u can imagine how funny it was!) of course, who cud forget ayi's hilarious impersonation of usher singing her version of burn?!?! hehehehe! there were the 18 diamonds consisting of lucy's closest friends and relatives giving her symbolic gifts, and there were the 18 memdles (memories and candles) made up of her barkada and her siblings... it was a truly memorable night for everyone, and most especially for lucy! *hope u had fun lucy! coz we did!*

...jeiks is here right now again.. we're gonna go to one of our neighbors to submit our application for the YFC camp.. *kinda excited* gosh, here she is blabbering again about her so-called "prettiness".. hehehehe! joke lng jeikee!! luv u!

...so.. what's next for the rest of my summer! bangkok here i come!!!! finally! after years of begging my parents to let me visit thailand, they're finally giving in! hehehhe! i'm leaving on the 25th... i am sooo damn excited! yipeeeeee!!! =) *cge na.. tag me.. anong gusto mong pasalubong?* hehehe!

there goes... *_* gotta bounce! cheers!
